If you want to bring a 'new organism' into New Zealand for the first time, it is necessary to apply to ERMA New Zealand.
Note that all organism imports are subject to Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's (MAF) biosecurity requirements and MAF should also be contacted before a new organism is imported
