Amendment to GMF99005

The Environmental Risk Management Authority (the Authority) has made an amendment to the Scion field test approval (GMF99005) granted in January 2001.

The original approval allowed Scion to field test genetically engineered Pinus radiata and Picea abies plants for herbicide resistance, over a period of nine years, in Rotorua.

The amendment extends the duration of the field tests for a further eight years and is considered to be minor in effect.

A copy of the decision is found here.
