The Forest Research Institute (trading as Scion) has applied for a minor amendment to extend the duration of its approval for the field testing of genetically modified pine and spruce trees (GMF99005).

ERMA New Zealand will now consider whether this amendment meets the criteria laid down in the HSNO Act for minor and technical amendments to existing approvals. Any changes to the decisions will be notified in the Bulletin and any updated decisions will be placed on our website.
