Field Test Genetically Modified Cattle Application (GMF98009)

An application was sent in by AgResearch to field test genetically modified cattle. This was to field test, in the Waikato, cattle genetically modified with cattle casein genes or the human myelin basic protein gene; or deletion of the cattle lactoglobulin gene.

Milk may have enhanced nutritive value or be valuable as a drug for multiple sclerosis.
