The Environmental Risk Management Authority (the Authority) has made minor amendments to the AgResearch outdoor containment approvals involving GM cattle (GMF98009 Parts I and II, and GMD02028). The amended versions of the approvals can be found here:

This means that:
- under the GMF98009 Part I and II approvals, the GM cattle can be held in containment but no new GM cattle can be produced (from 18 November 2008 for the Part I approval and from 23 May 2010 for the Part II approval).
- the duration of the GMD02028 approval has been increased by 2.5 years to allow for the completion of the research.
