The Environmental Risk Management Authority is calling for submissions on an application by Connovation Limited to import or manufacture para-aminopropiophenone (PAPP).
The substance will be used to manufacture pastes for use as vertebrate poisons for ground control of pests, with its main targets being stoats and feral cats.
Submissions on the application close on 18 February 2010.
