The Environmental Risk Management Authority has issued a group standard for refining catalysts.
This group standard is issued in accordance with the requirements of Part 6A of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act 1996. The group standard came into force on 1 July 2006.
The Refining Catalysts Group Standard has been created for catalysts that are used by the petrochemical for the refinement of crude oil and fuel, and other petrochemical applications such as methanol production and ammonia purification.
