The Environmental Risk Management Authority has issued group standards for class 5.1.1 oxidising substances and class 5.2 organic peroxides.
These group standards are issued in accordance with the requirements of Part 6A of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act 1996. The group standards came into force on 1 July 2006, except the Organic Peroxides, Toxic [6.1], Corrosive Group Standard, which comes into force on 12 November 2009.
