Group Standards for Aerosols

The Environmental Risk Management Authority has issued group standards for aerosols.

These group standards are issued in accordance with the requirements of Part 6A of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act 1996. The group standards came into force on 1 July 2006.

The Aerosols Group Standards have been created for products used or packed in aerosol dispensers that are packed under pressure and designed to be released as solid or liquid particles in a suspension of gas, as a foam, paste or powder, or in a liquid or in a gaseous state.
