The decision making framework of ERMA New Zealand's Authority consists of:
- The HSNO Act 1996 (specifically Part V);
- The broad statements of principle, policy and processes set out in the Methodology Order;
- Supporting material that describes in more detail how the Authority will go about considering applications and the information applicants may need to provide. Some of this is described in a set of protocols.
